What is the SonoPlatform?
The SonoPlatformTM is the foundation for state-of-the-art hearing aids and digital wireless applications. It consists of an electronic module with DSP chips, patented by Sonomax and manufactured exclusively for Sonomax by Gennum Corporation and is installed in a Sonomax expansion earpiece.
The SonoPlatformTM is an extension of the Sonomax expansion technology as developed through its patented SonoCustomTM for the use in assisted/active hearing applications. The ear mold has been modified to provide a cavity capable of housing a wide variety of electronic and sound transmission components that are sheltered in a protective housing and yet fit within the confines if the ear mold.
How is it Adjusted?
The SonoPlatformTM is designed to be fitted in a fashion similar to the SonoCustomTM. Upon inflation with a performance designed filler, the expandable bladder will mimic the shape of the ear canal and cure in 3minutes. The acoustic performance of each SonoPlatformTM is measured using the patented SonoPassTM system thus ensuring optimal performance every time. The physical characteristics of both the core and filler material have been carefully chosen to provide a comfortable fit while ensuring an acoustic seal.
